Achieving Operational Excellence for Everyone
Monday 16 September
Operational excellence in airline and airport operations involves the relentless focus on improving efficiency, reliability and customer satisfaction. Optimized flight schedules, dynamic forecasting, streamlined ground operations create an environment where delays are minimized and disruptions are limited. Data analytics, predictive maintenance and improved resource allocation help ensure operations planning is robust and decision-making is driven by data rather than only past experience which provides limited guidance for the future. A culture of continuous improvement is much needed for sustainable success throughout the operational cycle. Is the industry already implementing these tools are do they remain “buzz words” thrown at a Board meeting or a promotional event?
